Seasons

A season is a period with its own prices. Rate plans, packages, package rules and seasonal activity prices are all set per season.

The season list

The Seasons tab (page Seasons Management) shows the current season at the top, the list of seasons with their period, and a Season calendar. Search by name, filter by period (Current, Upcoming, Past, This Year, Next Year) and sort by date or name.

Create a season

1. Click New Season.

2. Choose the Season Type: High Season, Peak Season, Low Season, Special Season or Shoulder Season.

3. Check the Season Name — it fills in with the start year, for example Low Season 2026 — and set the Start Date and End Date.

4. Decide on Auto-split overlapping seasons (see below), then click Create Season.

Overlapping seasons

Two seasons cannot cover the same day. With Auto-split overlapping seasons ticked, DiveHQ cuts the existing season around the new one: a Peak Season from 15 July to 1 August inside a High Season from 1 July to 1 September leaves the high season on 1–14 July and 2 August–1 September. Unticked, creation is refused and the overlapping seasons are named.

Edit a season

Click Edit to change the type, the name or the dates. The same Auto-split overlapping seasons option applies to the new dates.

Prepare next year: clone a season

1. Click Clone on the season to copy.

2. Enter the New Season Name. The dates are set one year after the original; adjust them if needed.

3. Under Rate Plans Pricing Adjustment, enter a Price Adjustment (%) — positive for an increase, negative for a decrease — and choose the Rounding (No rounding, Round to hundred — recommended — or Round to thousand). Preview shows the effect.

4. Under What to Clone, tick Clone Rate Plans (recommended) and, if you want, Clone Packages.

5. Click Clone Season.

Cloned packages are created inactive, keep the same name and are linked to the new season: review them, then activate them in Packages.

Delete a season

Click Delete. Before anything is removed, DiveHQ shows what goes with the season: its rate plans, its packages and their widget listings and day-by-day lines, its package discount tiers, and the activities that go back to their base price on those dates.

• If nothing depends on it, click Delete season and its content.
• If a reservation, a sale or a quote was built on one of its packages, the season cannot be deleted: deleting it would cut those bookings loose from what they were sold. Change the dates or prices instead.
