Departures for dive & stay

A dive & stay package contains dives. Those dives need seats on a boat, a shore entry point or a pool session. Departures decide when and where they happen. If you haven’t set them up yet, follow the dive center guide first: Departures.

When you create a reservation in the hotel calendar

In the reservation window, the Dives & Add-ons step shows a card Dives — pick the departure of each dive. For each dive of the package (each day and activity), it lists the departures that take that dive on that day.

• It is pre-filled with the first free departure that does not overlap another dive of the same day.
• The choice applies to the whole group; you can still move anyone later in the Roster.
• If no departure takes a dive that day, the dive stays to be placed in the roster.

When a guest books a package online

The booking is refused, with a clear message, when:

• a dive of the package has no departure that day, or
• the departures that day are full, or
• diving is closed that day (see Close a whole day for online booking in Departures).

Good to know

Choosing a departure for each dive needs departure-based booking to be switched on for your club by DiveHQ. While it is off, dives in packages are placed in the roster by your team.
