Rooms

  • Paid plan: Dive Resort

A room is one physical room (or dormitory) of an accommodation type. Rooms are the rows of the Hotel Calendar and of the Housekeeping board.

The Rooms tab (page Room Management) lists every room with its type, capacity, bed type and status. Search by name, or filter by Type and Status (Active, Inactive).

From the list you can, without opening the room:

  • rename it (type the new name, then Save);
  • change its Bed Type (Single, Twin, Double, Flexible);
  • change the order with Move up / Move down — rooms appear in this order in the calendar and on the housekeeping board, within their type;
  • tick several rooms, then Activate, Deactivate or Delete them together.

A Custom capacity chip shows rooms whose capacity differs from their type.

  1. Click Add Room.

  2. Choose the Accommodation Type and enter the Room Name.

  3. Choose the Bed Options: Single bed (Dormitory), Double bed only, Twin beds only or Flexible (double or twin). The beds are created for you.

  4. Leave Capacity Override empty to use the type’s capacity, or enter a number if this room holds more or fewer people (for example a room with an extra bed).

  5. Optionally add a Room Description and a Room Image (from the gallery, or upload a new one — it is added to the gallery).

  6. Keep Room Available for Booking ticked to sell the room, then click Create Room.

To create many rooms at once, use Number of Rooms to Create when you create the accommodation type.

Click Edit to change the same fields. Untick Room Available for Booking to take the room out of sale without deleting it.

Delete Room (in the Danger Zone) removes the room for good. It is refused while the room is assigned to active reservations: un-assign or reassign them first.

  1. In the list, click the Maintenance button of the room.

  2. Under Add New Maintenance Period, set the Start Date, End Date and an optional Reason (for example AC repair), then click Add.

The Maintenance History shows each period as Active, Upcoming or Completed; you can edit or delete it. During a maintenance period the room cannot be booked and shows as out of service on the calendar. You can also block a room straight from the calendar — see Block a room.
