Closed Periods

  • Paid plan: Dive Resort

A closed period stops new reservations on some dates, for the whole resort or for some accommodation types. Use it for an annual closure, a renovation or a private buy-out. To take a single room out of service, plan a room maintenance instead.

The Closed Periods tab lists every period with its Scope, Period, Reason and Status: In Effect, Upcoming, Past or Disabled. The header shows how many are in effect today.

  1. Click New Closed Period.

  2. Choose the Scope:

    • All Resort — closes everything;
    • Specific Accommodation Types — choose one or more types. One closed period is created per type you select.
  3. Set the Start Date and End Date. Both days are included.

  4. Enter a Reason (for example Renovation) and, if useful, Internal Notes.

  5. Keep Active ticked: only an active closed period blocks reservations.

  6. Look at Existing Reservations on the right: it lists the reservations already booked on those dates for that scope.

  7. Click Create Closed Period.

Closed periods show on the Hotel Calendar. When you create a reservation there, a closed type is not offered on those dates, and AUTO ASSIGN does not place guests in it.

Click Edit to change the dates, the scope or the reason, then Update Closed Period. Untick Active to keep the period in the list without blocking anything (it shows as Disabled). Delete removes it.
