Cabin Types
A cabin type is what guests choose when they book: Master Cabin, Deluxe Double, Lower Cabin 1… Each one belongs to a boat. Its price is set in Bulk Pricing (the price per person for the whole trip) and per trip in Trips. For a first setup, follow 2. Boats & cabin types.

Choose where the cabin is sold
Section titled “Choose where the cabin is sold”Under Where does this cabin exist?:
- All trips on this boat (default): the cabin is offered on every departure.
- Only on specific trips: pick the departures. Useful for a backup cabin, such as a bunk room, sold on a few trips only.
- On every trip EXCEPT a few exceptions: pick the departures where it is not sold.
In the same section:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show only after N other cabins are booked | The cabin appears in the booking widget only once at least N other cabin types of the same trip are booked. Leave empty to always show it. |
| Available to travel agencies | Off: agencies cannot see or book this cabin. Their existing bookings stay visible. |
| Bonus capacity (excluded from core revenue) | Marks an opportunistic cabin (for example bunk beds). Its revenue is shown apart, as Bonus, in the profitability figures. |
| Exclude from external feeds (LiveaboardHub, ScubaDates) | Keeps the cabin out of partner feeds. Your own booking widget and agencies are not affected. |
Identical cabins: clone them
Section titled “Identical cabins: clone them”Each cabin type is one cabin. If your boat has several identical cabins, create the first one, then use Clone in its row menu: the copy is named … (Copy 1), with all the same settings; rename it (for example Lower Cabin 2).
Under Display Settings, switch off Show on Trip Page on the copies so that the trip description shows the cabin only once.
Find a cabin type
Section titled “Find a cabin type”The list shows the boat, Deck, Bed, Max Guests, Size, Amenities, whether it is Shared, Bonus or shown on the trip page (Show on Trip), and the order. Filter by Boat, deck or bed configuration. Deleted cabin types can be listed with the trashed filter and restored.
