Booking Widgets

A booking widget is the list of your upcoming trips, with prices and a booking button, that you embed in a page of your own website. Guests pick a trip and book and pay online. You can have several widgets, for example one per boat or one per season. For a first setup, follow 7. Booking widget.

  1. Click Create Widget.

  2. General tab:

    • Basic Information: a Name and a Slug (used in the widget’s address). Choose a Boat (Vessel), or leave it empty to show the trips of all your boats. Keep Active on.
    • Appearance: the Theme (Light or Dark), the Primary color, and Trips per page — the maximum number of trips the widget shows (50 by default).
  3. Display Options tab:

    • Hide vessel name removes the boat name from the trip cards.
    • Hide all filters removes the filter options from the widget.
    • Display trips within a limited date range, with a Start Date and End Date, shows only the departures in that period.
  4. Booking Options tab, section Payment & Auto-Cancel:

    • Booking Hold Duration: how long an unpaid online booking keeps its places, from 30 minutes to 72 hours (3 days).
    • Auto-cancel unpaid bookings: when on, a booking that is not paid within that time is cancelled and its places are released.
  5. Integrations tab: enter your GTM Container ID (GTM-XXXXXXX) to send the widget’s events to your Google Tag Manager. The tab lists the events sent automatically, such as widget_view, trip_view and booking_start.

  6. Click Create.

  1. Open the widget and its Embed Code tab. It shows the Widget URL, the Iframe Embed Code and a Live Preview.

  2. Copy the Iframe Embed Code and paste it into a page of your website.

From the widget list, Copy Embed Code gives you the code again and Preview opens the widget.

The list shows each widget’s boat, Active, whether Google Tag Manager is set up (GTM) and its Widget URL. Filter by Active, GTM Tracking or Boat.

Switching Active off takes the widget offline: its address stops answering.
