4. Booking Terms

4.1 For Customers

When making a booking through our platform:

• You agree to provide accurate personal and travel information
• You understand that dive operators have their own cancellation policies
• You acknowledge that diving activities carry inherent risks
• You confirm that you meet the health and certification requirements for the trip

4.2 For Operators

As a dive operator using our platform:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings
• You agree to honor confirmed bookings
• You maintain all necessary licenses and insurance
• You comply with local regulations and safety standards

5. Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors (Stripe, Xendit). DiveHQ does not store complete credit card information on our servers.

• All prices are displayed in the currency specified by the operator
• Refunds are subject to the operator's cancellation policy
• Payment processing fees may apply

6. Communication Services

By using our platform, you consent to receive communications via:

• Email notifications about bookings and account updates
• WhatsApp messages for booking confirmations and updates (if opted in)
• SMS notifications (where applicable)

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

The DiveHQ platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by DiveHQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

DiveHQ provides a platform connecting divers with operators. We are not responsible for:

• The quality or safety of diving services provided by operators
• Disputes between customers and operators
• Cancellations or changes made by operators
• Weather-related trip modifications
• Personal injury or property damage during dive activities

Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our platform services.

9. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Transmit viruses or malicious code
• Interfere with the proper operation of the platform
• Scrape or harvest data from our platform
• Create fake accounts or bookings

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
